Eyes Tell A Story
Psychic eyes have swam ashore this midnight beach
With each and every passing of the hour we forgive
The world outside we never understood
Humble in our yearnings to learn and remember
What will lay in waiting, What have we been chasing? (x2)
Quiet eyes have flown asunder our quiet skies
I'm just a little boy tempted by the changing of the winds
Holding on to a childhood some may rather not embrace
But letting go of what made you so unique is certainly a disgrace
Gentle eyes have walked towards me calming and serene
Growth will be what we shelter yet inside it awakens us
A memory is like a candle flame, so quick to be erased
But if you feel the warmth inside it will never be replaced
What will lay in waiting? What have we been chasing? (x4)
