The Butterfly

So many yearn for a care free life
An existence absent of angst and strife
Wishing to be a joyful butterfly
Paper wings lifted into somber sky
Its only legacy flowers and dust
Freed of the demons envy rage and lust
I will gladly trade my life for yours
For I wish to be free of butterfly chores
Time is too short and soon I will die
Just a message from me the butterfly
