Conjured
personally like to kill with kindness,
you can throw hate at me,
i'll just welcome it with open arms
i’m opening my heart
ready for the blows
I’m doing this so that I can be a holy devil
in my shreds of elegance
I throw my peaceful vigil to the savage humane dogs
but if you wish a twinkling peaceful night
I will abide by your wishes
cast off my demons
kill my poisonous hate
the quill has pierced my flesh
the putrid ink invades my body
my blood as black as a negro’s skin
my heart
as cold as your conscience.
My life has sailed by with happiness conjured as foretold
my body an empty vessel did its bidding
my last breath I take for you, I forgive you.
