forgetting you
If our love was lost then why did I linger
I tried not to care but it was next to impossible
I surrounded my heart with so many guards
But your taking of it was inevitable
You were gone from me for the longest while
That made it through a year is incredible
I sometimes wonder if we will even make it
The distance, alone, makes an us so unconceivable
I try to forget you day in and day out
The time we took to learn each other was indescribable
How can I forget what we have been to each other
I our love possible, probable, forgetable
