I Want

I want you to love me
and to be my best friend.
I want you to hold me
and tell me your love will never end.
I want you to be there to cheer me on
and to hug me tight when im done.
I want you to be your funny self,
and to be someone whos always honest,
and not like a closed book on a shelf.
But all this I want I want for me
And it's not going to happen
unless its meant to be.
I can want all I want,
but it comes down to what I need,
all these wants are just big dreams.
