Kidnapped
May 21, 2011
Like a man, he looks at them—
The children so innocent,
Whose lives are like rare gems,
To whom the warnings are sent.
Jumping, running and playing,
They look happy and in peace,
Unaware of everything,
Things that were planned by the beast.
Close, he is getting closer,
Getting ready to do it—
Befriend them and take them there,
To a place where he could fit.
Some call it “the punishment,”
Others call it “the fireplace,”
And though in it is torment,
He calls it “home”—the dark place.

I actually like it. I mean, doing a lot of things, or at least, trying to. I wrote a poem then essay, then short stories. I want to have part in every section of this site, I think. :) I may be bizzare with some but I'm trying to improve. :)

You're not stealing an idea? Maybe, not. YOu know. It's my idea. But if you ask if you can use it, my answer is yes. Plus, mine is poem.. yours is story..so i think it's ok :)

I'd read your articles, commented on them and rated them. They're all good which means you're a good writer. If you want to write, write. And I wouldn't mind if you got the idea from this poem or somewhere else. Btw, I'm not good in making stories. :)))
