In their eyes
I went driving today.
The emptiness of the roads helps clear my mind.
When i'm driving I feel like i'm escaping from my life,
from what I don't want to be.
It's my chance to leave it all behind.
I went walking through stores today,
without money,
just walking and touching everything.
I noticed people staring at me
and I found that if I stare into someones eyes for long enough,
and take in their facial expressions and body language,
it's as if I can feel what they're feeling.
Can they feel it, too?
