all the world is
I don't know why i can't feel love unless it's put right in front of me. And that's how i know it isn't love that I'm feeling,
it's just a distraction from reality and it tricks my brain into thinking that I love you
and depend on you to be happy
even though deep down I know
that my happiness rests in no one's hands but my own.
And that's all the world is:
A distraction.
We can find a distraction for almost anything
and we can stop caring about anything, really.
All I need to forget anything
is a touch and a heartbeat
and a place to close my eyes
and just pretend for a little while.
