How I Get Attached
I remember crying on your bed,
my tears sinking in to your floral patterned pilllows.
You would hold me and we would listen to death cab
as the only light in your room peaked its way
out of an old fashion lamp beside your bed.
You would think I was crying about you, but really I was just crying
because I guess,
maybe,
I needed to release some endorphins.
I think that is the main way I get attached to people.
If I can cry in the presence of someone,
I will be attached for probably
the rest of my life.
