it comes back to you
We drove around in your mini van,
which has seats that always make me feel
so much smaller than I am.
We both had different shoes than we used to wear,
and we both commented on them
as soon as we sat down on the bench.
You scared all of those birds away
and by the end of the night
I was just another one of them.
You think i'm the same girl I used to be when we were together,
but the truth is...
i'm not even the same girl I was two weeks ago.
The only thing constant about me,
is that I always end up sitting next to you,
no matter where we are.
