Hallways
It is cool
it is dark
and lonely
It is quiet
they are screaming
I am curled into myself
A dull bulb
Emits a dull light
And makes a dull, buzzing noise
The walls are smooth
A neutral, pale colpor
Bland and blue, they are forgotten
An authoritative voice
Rumbles and roars
Scattering a group of silly young boys
Instructors instruct
Whjile students jot notes
Trying and trying to maske that A-plus
The ha;;s are still
So large and long
So quiet and dreary
A clack of halls
The bounce of balls
The hum of quiet
This is normal
This is everyday
This is routine
When the cages ar eunlocked
The packs come out
Shouting, roaring; bouncing off walls
The process resumes
As it does everyday
Eight times a day
It is cool
it is dark
and lonely
It is quiet
they are screaming
I am curled into myself
