Sitting and staring
Suspicious of self induced insanity
Fearing and hating the silent calamity
Thinking of the false smile falling into paranoia
God given sins
Waiting to destroy us all
I regret or they
Or maybe we
The things that none of us should say
Waiting a mile from the edge
And still scared to fall
Righteousness becomes cowardice instead
Isolation drilling into our heads
Waiting to satiate
A demon that can't be fed
Running away when you right by my side
So many words spoken
And still so many left to hide
Sanity, Salvation and Safety
Stand next to you
All awaiting to escape me
Wanting to understand a twisted mind
Wishing for so much
From what can't be kind
Seeing into a dark future
Something shouldn't be
And It shouldn't be "her" or "she"
Fearing far off pain
How can something so simple
Cause someone to go insane?
