Facing Sin
Every time a shadow of sin crosses my soul
My mind looses the mentality required to reach my goal
With the thought of me before the kingdom my mind flirts
But then I realize there is no good to that thought it only hurts
It causes pain to me, earth, and above
Because of it I don’t show that heavenly love
In his word he tells me not to think that way
But because of my sin to that way I tend to sway
He has given me the power and sight
So that I may now see Satan and I can win this fight
I will no longer be oppressed by the power of sin
But through the almighty God I will win
I will face my future with strength
I will travel this road no matter what the length
Wind, hell, and rain
I will face the pain
My God died and rose again
I can fight this desire to sin
