I Remember
I remember just sitting there.
Running our fingers through each others hair.
Our love was all we had to share.
You were the only one who truely did care.
I remember when you were mine.
I remember last Valentine's Day.
You promised me you'd always stay.
Now you're gone and it's only May.
And now for trusting you, I have to pay.
I remember when you were mine.
I remember your white smile, your eyes oh so bright.
What kept me going was our loves light.
I'd love you even through every little fight.
And you were in my dreams every night.
I remember when you were mine.
But you don't love me, you only love her.
You said you might give me a chance later.
You're such a player, heartbreaker.
Don't worry, I've gotten plenty stronger.
I don't want you as mine anymore.
