Your Perfect Flaws
Up until now , they've all been the same.
Same hearts , desires , lusts .
Never until now, have I found myself the one to blame.
Another piece of me lost, all because of trust .
They've all been molded the same way.
Striving on looks and temporary emotions.
All programed with the right things to say.
Until you, no one has been worth the drama or commotion .
I didn't fall for your perfection, I fell for your flaws.
What you may have hated; I found unique.
But you never ceased to ask what I saw.
How I fell harder as days turned to weeks.
The way you debated; the way you present.
Simply fascinated me in way unexplained.
Your morals , your values , you were a true gent.
It amazed me how well you had your emotions trained.
You were not defined by society.
You created your own standards.
But with this you wanted more, you needed variety.
Seeing this I began to slander.
It's not that I was afraid to trust, but afraid to lose.
Envy was the first regret I had.
For that emotion , I misused.
Afraid of the hurt.. that I was simply another fad.
But now you're gone.
You grew weary of the game.
As quick as you came , you began to move on .
But I'll never regret you , for I'll never truly be the same
