Drowning
Floating amongst this cerulean galaxy
I am down to my last breath
As I lie beneath the surface and admire what is left
My heart beat progresses and is magnified in my ear
This should be a warning, this is what I should fear
Death the eternal ending to a life full of bliss
I remember how it started with that everlasting kiss
All promises have been broken and opaque tears descended
Lies I have been told, feelings once pretended
This moment is mine and mine alone
As I slowly sink to the bottom hoping my story will be known
Nobody ever imagined love could lead to this
Yet I remember how it started with a kiss
