time
Sun dancing
Cheek to cheek
A pattern
Flitting from
Hand to hand
Black and white simplicity
Eyes as deep as wells
That speak volumes
Even the greatest
Of writers couldn’t comprehend
Hair a mess
But who should care
Triumphant for a moment
Her face reaches
Towards the heavens
A kiss of light
On her forehead
That carries memories
On its wings
Beautiful
For a moment
Captured in time
Like an hour glass
Who’s sand refuses to fall.
