Promiscuous
Heads turn as she enters the room
The air around her becomes thick
With the disgusted whispers
Of the people who've heard the rumors
The words fall casually from their lips
"I heard..."
They all assume she's promiscuous
Because that's what they've heard
She sits in the back, alone
Hiding her face in her hands
No one sees the tears that fall
They wouldn't care anyway
They can't see the truth
Too caught up in the lies
Spread by careless whispers
They all assume she's promiscuous
Because that's what they've heard
