How softly the wind brushes against the trees
Not a move is made.
The branches still
Lifeless and cold

The leaves move softly with the gentle wind
Slowly, calmly
They start to dance
Eager for life

The leaves start to fall
Carried by the wind
Until they are placed safely
On the ground

The tree move
As the wind gets stronger,
Trees stay firm because
They know the strong wind will not last long.

The wind becomes soft
The leaves grow
More and more each day
The tree fills with life

The wind becomes helpful
Aiding comfort
In the long warm days
Until the tree falls before its time,

Not a sound is made
The wind is calm
Continuing to flow
Through the trees
