To My Dear and Loving Planet
Your trees were once plenty, but now there are few
Your oceans are now brown, when once they were blue
Human population had distorted your land
But I am here to save you, here to take a stand
I know your inner beauty; I know your true grace
I know you’re a privilege, not just some place
Global warming will ruin your atmosphere
Though people should care, that is not what they fear
They only fear the present, they fear what’s now
I wish I could just tell them, show them somehow
Someday I know ill show them, I will find a way
For soon our planet will be nothing but decay
