Time at Sea
Up and down, up and down
The ship goes all around
Oh. The ship is so very tipsy turvy
We are told to eat the fruit so we don’t get scurvy
Splish! Splash! Oh the sea goes crash
I am not scared, I do this everyday
The wind blows and the sail fills with air, I feel the jerk of the boat, and all of
A sudden I am clinging on for my life
I love this earth
I love eating apple pie
I don’t want to die
And as quick as the fright came, it left
Went away, at least for today
But the storm will be back again
But who knows when
For now, I am steering the ship
Just trying to not have it tip.
