Alcoholic Logic
Got a fire in his heart, a nervous feelin in his brain
A closet full of skeletons that would put anyone to shame
A lifetime of debauchery, and a conscience full of woes
All the things that weighed him down, left his heartprint in the snow
A mile to the package store feels like a million miles before
He can view their merchandise but he's got no idea what's in store
A long way home for him tonight, it will test all his might too
He'll live to regret his decisions before this night is through
A bump in the road on a patch of ice, bottle to his head he wont think twice
He will swerve and spin, his hair will stand on end, into the abyss he'll fall again
Maybe one more time just for good measure, just to give him his last test
But like all those who drink and drive, he'll end up forgotten like the rest
