Just running through the sunshine.
And holding the light between my hands.
Making sure it never leaves,
For it must guide my way.
Embracing this laughter.
Keeping it close to my heart.
Praying through the sadness.
And waves crash against my love.
Remembering to believe.
And hiding under a tree for shade.
Listening in silence.
And sharing it with you.
I close my eyes and smell a flower.
Its scent saves my life.
Dreaming through the broken heart.
And realizing one thing.
Joy on my lips,
And you in my heart.
You are truly, the sunshine of my life.
