How to toddle, how to walk.
Teach me how to sing and play
How to listen, disobey.
Teacher, teach me
How to read and write
How to laugh with such delight
Teach me how to really see
All the beauties surrounding me
Teacher, teacher, how I've grown.
I can't believe I'm so alone.
Please, oh please teach me more.
I just can't see beauty anymore.
Where were you all of these years?
Can't you see my pain, my tears?
I need you now more than ever.
I think I've fallen in love.
