The world could be against me
Holding swords to my throat
And fists to my chest
I could be drowning in a wave of deceit
But there’s always some dolphin to rescue me.
Lightning can burn up everything in my path
People will throw their whispering wrath
But at the end of day, when I’m down on my knees,
The slate is wiped clean with, “Lord forgive me, please.”
