Why do their eyes look at me?
What have I done to them?
What is it that I can’t see?
The lights seem so dim.
Why am I always left behind,
In dreams I never had.
What are they afraid I’ll find?
It couldn’t be that bad.
Secrets pounding at my door,
Pages left unturned,
Flares I just can’t ignore,
I’m already burned.
The taste fouls me so,
Can’t get it out.
I just want to know.
I ask and they shout.
They never answer anything.
What do I have to do?
I try to chirp and sing,
But I get nothing new.
Why won’t they just tell me now?
Life seems so dull.
I don’t care what, why, or how.
I feel so void and null.
Please just tell me soon.
This is making me nuts.
It’s turning me into a loon.
I have so many cuts.
They’re as deep as can be,
Scarring my fragile hands.
You’re hurting me,
With all your demands...

I feel as though a thousand eyes scrutinize my every motion as pass on through the confusion that is my life. I have never felt like I belonged or was meant to be, thus this poem is a direct reflection of my core emotions and thoughts...

So, I just commented on another one of your poems but then I saw this one. I wasn't going to comment on it too like a creeper but then I saw that no one else had. Your stuff is amazing! It unbelievable that I am the first comment on both of them when they were both so good!
