Struggle
Disappointment comes from guilt,
which travels with failure.
A towering head after a lost match
might mean you didn’t try.
There is nothing worse than heavy braggers, unloading
insults to lighten their shoulders.
Arch backs, stretch shoulders,
shovel away pounds of guilt
onto someone else. Now you are unloading.
Brace the exception of another failure
and suit up for court to try,
grab a ball and start a match.
Stalk above to hover your imperfect match
and squeeze the spongy muscle to tap together the blades of your shoulders,
place that ball even between your opponent, lurch to try.
A slice of whistle blows, just after an early start, you flush away cheaters guilt.
You lean towards that ball in time to snatch it away with wrath unloading.
The slippery sucker rolls off, unloading.
A fire flicks in your eyes without a match.
Your challenger huffs to charge, almost accepting failure.
Agility holds the entire game on its shoulders,
lack of training for this moment could welcome guilt,
there’s nothing left to do but try.
Again, again, and again, you try
to send weight unloading.
You will not be slapped with guilt
if it’s an uneven match.
Just to gain experience and broaden your shoulders,
makes you other than a failure.
A failure
can’t try,
their shoulders
stop unloading.
Your match
exfoliates in guilt.
Though a failure without guilt
is a tried match,
and insults are unloading to the next players, ready your shoulders.
