What Blaine Never Knew

There was a guy named John
who loved a girl named Jane
but John was badly mistaken;
he thought her name was Blaine.
They went to Colorado
but it began to rain.
So the went outside and danced,
then John proposed to Jane.
But on the wedding day,
John learned her name was Jane
and promptly said “Oh, nevermind.
That name is way too plain.”
