Darkness
As I lay here in my bed
There's darkness in every corner
Right now I feel as if I'm dead
There's darkness in every corner
My door is wide open but little light comes in
I want to turn on my light
But that admits defeat so I hold on tight
My bed is my parents who shelter me
My covers are my brothers who comfort me
My only light is my only hope for life
The cold darkcuts my heart like a knife
Someone who loves me turned on the sun
For he is the only and almighty one
He loves all, for he is God
He knows all for he is my God
Only he could take me out of the dark
I prayed and know I'm coming out without a mark
There's light in every corner, for He saved me.
