Beautiful is a Lie
What I would give to have you tell my I look beautiful today. I’d be okay if, all night, that’s all I hear you say. I’d watch your lips form the perfect words. I feel like those words have never been heard. I sit, and wait, and worry in silence. Maybe, just a little hint would keep my head balanced. You don’t even see what this would mean. You can’t even imagine how perfect that would be. I wish everyday to hear someone speak those words. But, in the end, looking desperate is what makes me feel the worst. I wish these words would come between hello and goodbye. But, then again, why would you ever tell such a lie?
