A train off the track
Trying to make up in all I lack
Inside a monster has spawn
Doing all I can just to hold on
Turning away again and again

I’m not a problem they can solve
Around the scale my thoughts revolve
Don’t take away power rightfully mine
The way I control is perfectly fine
The numbers are always on a decline

A shiver runs down my spine
As the monster continues to take my mind
A reflection I see that makes me cry
As my parents continue to pry
Force, oh they think they are smart

One little lie,
Out the window, goodbye
You cannot trick me,
For I know the truth
One little morsel,
And the numbers go through the roof

I wake up on white sheets one day
And I must admit,
It is difficult for me to say,
I am terrified this monster,
May never go away
