Day Stands Still
Desks sit empty
Diners lay vacant
With books still open
And plates still set
The rooms still decorated
The beds still made
But nature creeps in
There is no stop to that
This place was once busy
But now lies still
It is as if everyone left
To never return home
The entrance is fenced off
Access is forbidden
You can still read the sign
Chernobyl, Ukraine
