Summer
Summer always hold bright memories,
Of kickball, bike rides, and pool parties,
Of fireworks, ice cream, and sleeping in,
Of sunshine, thunderstorms, and tanning skin.
Summer is a time to get away,
Fun with friends and relaxing all day,
From stress and homework we are free,
And school-time dress code tyranny.
From chasing girls and baseball games,
To late nights and hot evening rains,
Summer is a time of freedom and fun,
And I always regret when it’s over and done
