someone always in the shadows?
Searching, waiting,
Trying to break free?
Who am I?
Someone without a voice?
Always putting you before me?
And never wanting to anger?
Who I am,
Quiet but friendly,
Alone, but not lonely,
Loved, but wanting.
Who I am,
Giving, but will take,
Respectful, but genuine,
Analytical, but simple.
Who am I,
But who I am,
Always me,
And never them.
