Nothing But Homeless
As i lay here on this old, dirty bed
The horrid scent all around me
I am nothing but homeless.
Nights pass, the blackness comes and goes
Time and time again.
Stars shining
As i lay here
in the twilight.
The rhythm of the cars passing
and the nice, cool breeze
It calms me.
And me, with my ripped quilt
Barely held together
Slowly drift off into the nothingness
and gently fall asleep.
