They're like dirt
But your sand
They're like a fist
you're a hand
I wanna hold you
But you simply fall through my fingers
I never told you
How my thoughts of you seem to linger
Long after you're gone
And I'm all alone
And this hourglass your slipping through
It has no bottom, no end
I dont get this time back with you
Try to cling to the grains that I spend
But they are too small
For me
They mean nothing to you
But they're all that I see
And when you walk away the footprints by yours are not mine
And seas and storms and wishes cannot move the sands of time
They are never early
They are never late
and so I wallow
and so I wait.

This is one of those things where its sort of about a person and sort of about a feeling.

I remember you telling me the begiining of that poem before but I never heard the ending. It was very good. It gave me like a relaxed thoughtful feeling. =^_^= Bravo!
