Yet, I love you so
Why do I long to hear your voice?
Yet sometimes that sound pierces my ear
Why do we laugh together?
Yet inside I feel tears
Why do I hold those memories close?
Yet most are ones I want to forget
Why sometimes can we stay up talking for hours?
Yet other days you can’t even utter one word
Why do I desire to be close to you
Yet sometimes I want no part of you
Why do I hate you?
Yet a part of me still needs you
