It takes courage to release from the familiar and secure, to embrace the new. There is no security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in adventure, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.

Liars sleep in the soft and gentle night
Broken and battered full of sin and hate
Our world so corrupt, a pitiful sight

Yelling, violence, war, who is in the right?
Love disappearing, what will be out fate?
Liars sleep in the soft and gentle night

Children are miserable, all parents fight
Divorces gaining ground at a quick rate
Our world so corrupt, a pitiful sight

This Earth so vile is it at its height?
No one allowed to enter heaven's gate
Liars sleep in the soft and gentle night

We could try and change it with all our might
But at this date it's probably too late
Our world so corrupt, a pitiful sight

A crumbling world growing dim not bright
Earth reaching its expiration date
Liars sleep in the soft and gentle night
Our world so corrupt, a pitiful sight
