A Ray Of Hope
Sometimes you feel only darkness, black
A single person can change that feeling
Friends are there to bring you back
When you really need that kind of healing
Something complicated like love
The common cause
It can make you happy, then disappear like a dove
Sometimes it seems your life is on pause
One deed can hurt
A deed of love or a deed of hate
As simple as a simple flirt
You eventually heal at a slow rate
It can hurt so much that one deed
You might even think to wear that rope
But a true friend is all you need
All you need is that ray of hope
