I.L.A.

More like a sister then you ever have seen,
Less like an enemy lurking in the trees
Trustworthy to the point you could tell her anything,
And know she would never tell anybody else
Talking to her, brought joy to the heart,
Involving her, gave you a little bit of spark
Never to criticize, never to hate
Even if you were ever mad at her, it would never be fate
Depressed and loyal as a friend, she was so nice
Talking to her seemed so not precise
Now she lurks, in the shadows up above,
Watching down with intention and love
Even though she may not have thought,
Her being on this earth changed many things a lot
I write this poem, and hope for the best,
For she deserves this conversation, which I now put to rest
