Rising above this endless joy
Like waves rise above ocean rocks

Piercing fear inside
Kills you slowly
Like a poison in the your veins

Love is manic
In this melancholy dream
Lasting for what feels like eternity

Longing to escape
Tears that come unexpectedly
Like a fast paced race

This world you’ve made
So small and the fear
Takes control and you panic

Anima is wounded
Like the declining numbers
We look at heartbroken

It is sick like the dogs in the alley
Needing only love themselves
Pain caresses your open heart

Love is a bitter symphony
In this dream
Like a nightmare it seems

This awakening of the anima
Cold sweat pours off your hot skin
Like a fever breaking

Balance of your weary soul
A medicine to calm your ailing
Like a prescription

You feel it all failing
After a few weeks
Like a broken down boxer

Punch drunk and speaking dumb
You try to get the words out
Like an asthmatic tries to breath

Without their inhaler
You see yourself in a similar light
A sad anima

Trying to fight
