Moon Beams
The moon she shines, so sweetly in the sky,
I watch her twinkle in my opened eyes,
Her glow reminds me of times long ago,
When in my heart, itself love had sewn.
So gentle and kind,
She is on my mind,
With her I am never alone.
She’s in my room near every night,
Shining down on me with all of her might,
Giving me hope when I’m in despair,
Even when everything seems so unfair.
So gentle and kind,
She is on my mind,
With her I am never alone.
When darkness falls on me, into the night
She guides me so kindly with her great light.
With my heart open to her, in come her moon beams,
Filling me up to my hearts busting seams.
So gentle and kind,
She is on my mind,
With her my heart she will grow.
