Happy Birthday
In my study hall, I wait as each minute passes...seconds seemingly longer than the previous one. Another year, a new age. My heart pleads with me to just say those two simple words to you. Pathetic...seems to fit me best at this moment. For I feel as if you think I have forgotten...for I have never forgot. But then why should I bother, when you probably don't even see me walk down the hallway. My eyes have grown accustomed to the ground; they are dear friends. But what should I know of friends, when I can't even keep my own? Pathetic. Yes, so miserable in my self-pity. But since I am too much of a coward to say it your beautiful face...Happy Birthday.
