Well today I finally told you, I finally got it out.
I can’t believe I did, I still had my doubt.
Would you like it? Would you understand it?
I think if you hated it, I would probably just quit.

But you said you loved them and were surprised,
I keep reading that message; I still can’t believe my eyes.
I still have something else though to tell, something left to do,
I thank you, you’re the reason for this; my biggest inspiration is you.

Now that you’ve seen them, they keep getting more cheerful,
And the more that happens the less my eyes get tearful.
I don’t know whether to keep it under wraps or scream it and shout,
Because I’m just so happy, that I’ve finally figured out what my life is all about.

You weren’t the first to see, and definitely not the last,
Because these words keep hitting me like a never ending arctic blast.
These are the words that help me survive.
Before they formed I wasn’t even sure if I was still alive.

I felt so dead, so alone inside,
Remember the line from earlier, the one about my last ride?
Well as it turns out, that was only my first,
It helped me to get started, when I was down and at my worst.

It made me realize that I have a special gift,
The ability to put people at ease, when I just let my thoughts drift.
So I’m just going to sit here and get lost in my mind and write for days,
Oh how I love this feeling; just like you in my life, I really hope it stays.
