How Long Have I Been In This Storm?
Whirlwind pools, my soul to bear
Winds of desire, smell of rain in the air
Rush of fulfillment, little drops of delight
Rain falls like children's prayers tonight
Crystal eyes, lost so easily
Clouds block whats committed to memory
Falling so fast, slipping into blue nights
Dreams of you are all I see tonight
I can’t take this feeling anymore
Storms I once held in I can no longer ignore
Tumbling under, surface just out of reach
The beauty of the rain and all those moments you seek
Emotion and power have lost my control
So weary from trying and bearing my soul
Falling forever, stars ceasing to shine
The glow of your love is no longer mine
Off in the distance, a beacon of hope
A glimmer of light clears a path thru the smoke
Clarity, purify sin filled ovations
Heaven above, the final destination
