My first winter
I loved how you had the experience of seeing and feeling snow. But you’re right it takes time to adapt to a new environment. Especially since you have been in a warm environment for over thirteen years. I live on Martha's Vineyard so we haven't felt a really cold winter. So I have never had cold snow like what you have experienced. I can’t relate to what you were in but I can say adapting is hard. Your writing really touched me to think there are more kids out there who have never experienced snow. Just thinking about the kids who have never experienced snow is sad. But I kind of feel happy for them because they will never ultimately feel cold.
