Secrets
Secrets that lie hidden in the brush,
Capped by whispered dew and frost
Beneath a layer of gentle hush,
Meanings come and go, only to be lost.
And so then, with simple glee,
Plans are hatched, that unabated grow
Into dark twisting mazes of the heart.
When lost there, you are never free,
As as you wander, you will know,
That secrets tear all of us apart.
