The kingdom of fire
i was the serpant,
the demon called legion.
fallen from high
twas the coldest of seasons
as black fire licked
caressing my flesh
i was changing and aging
as fast as my breath
i can remember
the dark dying embers
as we took inventory,
collecting the members
of this our new home
our kingdom of fire
twas the birth of your hell
and of carnal desire.

a good poem is when it uses advanced vocab that others can't understand and when you use so much figurative language that you have to stop to think what on earth the poet is talking about~the language of the poet
