A day dream
The sun was hot;
But the wind was cool,
Her long silky hair flowing,
Like a rhythm to a song,
She laughs all day,
And sleeps all night,
As the tree tops sway,
With a mighty roar of the wind,
And her blue eyes sparkle,
Like diamonds in a mine,
Her voice will trail for miles,
She’s always so happy,
So creative and smart,
She wants to be a teacher,
But no one believes,
That she’ll reach her goal,
But she knows she can,
With every last soul,
Her heart races faster,
As her mind wanders,
And her senses are tingling,
Like tiny little bugs,
Inside her head,
A day dream…
