Revolution
Revolution
Calm summer nights-
Lying on smooth, damp rocks,
Hair blowing through misty air,
Bright moonlight glistening upon water,
Reflecting off pure innocent eyes.
Then change burst forth-
Water droplets transform into crashing waves,
Small rocks appear as sharp mountains,
The bitter taste of salt stings my tongue.
As peacefulness fades, harsh reality begins.
